Carrera turns in his best game in NBA Summer League action
Former South Carolina men’s basketball standout Michael Carrera on Tuesday had his best game yet this summer with the Miami Heat.
Carrera led Miami with 16 points in an 80-71 win over Phoenix in NBA Summer League action in Las Vegas. He was 5-for-5 from the field with four rebounds and one block.
He’s averaging 4.6 points per game, with all of his points coming in five of the Heat’s eight games.
