Gamecocks hoops target will announce decision this week
Conway senior forward Jimmy Nichols plans to announce his college decision this week.
Nichols will announce his choice on WPDE Channel 15 in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
South Carolina is one of the three schools Nichols is considering. The other two are Miami and Providence.
Nichols is the No. 4 prospect in South Carolina for Class of 2018, according 247Sports. The 6-foot-8 forward participated in the NBPA Top 100 camp in June.
As a junior, Nichols averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds a game for Conway.
