Rick Sandidge, Israel Mukuamu signing day update
Concord, N.C. defensive tackle Rick Sandidge won't be among the early signees on Wednesday, his coach confirmed Monday. According to coach Glenn Padgett, Sandidge has not said anything to him to indicate a change in plans for him to take official visits in January and sign in February.
Some recruiting service reports have Sandidge as a possible Wednesday signee.
#STRecruiting: Per his coach at Concord High School, DL Rick Sandidge, as of this afternoon, is not expected to sign Wednesday. Sandidge has said as much and has four official visits scheduled for January at this point.

"I already know how I feel about these schools, it's just for having a good time for my family and the coaches and stuff like that," Sandidge said. "If I have any questions, I'll make sure I ask them."
Asked if he has a favorite as he goes into the next phase of his recruiting with the official visits next month, Sandidge cracked a smile and said, "I can't answer that question."
Gamecocks commit Israel Mukuamu told Kornblut he will sign this week, but instead of doing it Wednesday, when the signing period begins, he’ll do it Friday, the last day of the period. Mukuamu committed less than two weeks before the signing period started, after decommitting from Florida State.
#STRecruiting: DB Israel Mukuamu will sign Friday at 3:30 with USC at his school in Bossier City, LA.
