Gamecock quarterback commits Ryan Hilinski, Luke Doty come up big in victories
South Carolina commits Ryan Hilinski and Luke Doty put up big numbers again in helping their teams to victories Friday night.
Hilinski, a Class of 2019 commit, threw three touchdowns in helping Orange Lutheran (Calif.) over Vista Murrieta, 42-17. The senior didn’t play the fourth quarter with his team up comfortably.
Hilinski was 16-of-24 for 213 yards. Through three games, he is 67-of-102 for 825 yards and nine touchdowns. Orange Lutheran (2-1) is off next week.
Doty, a junior and Class of 2020 commit was 22-of-31 for 279 yards and three touchdowns in Myrtle Beach’s 42-6 win over Laurens. He also rushed four times for 41 yards. The Seahawks are 2-0 on the season.

2019
Joseph Anderson (Oakland HS, Tenn.) – Team was off this week. Has two tackles in two games this season
Devontae Davis (Georgia Military) – Had four tackles, two for loss in win over Arizona Western.
Jahkeem Green (Highland CC) – Had 7 tackles, 1 TFL loss against Ellsworth CC.
Jamario Holley (Northwestern) – Missed game with hamstring injury
Traevon Kinion (Wake Forest HS, NC) – Had 1 catch for 14 yards against Middle Creek. In three games, has 5 catches for 180 yards and 2 TDs.
Keveon Mullins (Whitehaven HS, Tenn.) – Had 3 catches for 46 yards against Cordova. In two games, has caught 6 passes for 89 yards.
Cam Smith (Westwood) – Had four tackles, one for loss against Blythewood.
