South Carolina men’s basketball will get a dose of the Ellis brothers.

Eli Ellis moved in on campus this week and is part of the Class of 2025.

On Thursday, Ellis’ brother, Isaac, committed to the Gamecocks for the Class of 2026.

Eli Ellis teased some sort of news, earlier this afternoon and posted “Family business” on his X page shortly after his younger brother’s commitment.

Isaac Ellis is USC’s first 2026 pledge and is ranked as a three-star prospect by On3. The Gamecocks offered the younger Ellis last December. He also had offers from Oklahoma State and Murray State, among others.

The 6-foot-1 Ellis plays at Moravian Prep in North Carolina and with Overtime Elite in Atlanta. He averaged 14.6 points and 4.5 assists last season for OTE’s YNG Dreamerz squad and was teammates with his older brother, who committed to USC in November 2023.

The Gamecocks are quickly adding OTE players. In addition to the Ellis brothers, 2025 signees Abu Yarmah and Hayden Assemian also will be playing at USC.
