Gamecocks’ newest football commitment is O-lineman from Alabama
South Carolina’s latest football commitment is a self-proclaimed “People Mover” from Alabama.
Three-star offensive lineman Jaxon Elston (6-4, 325) announced a commitment to the Gamecocks on Sunday afternoon with a social media post.
He’s the Gamecocks’ seventh pledge for the Class of 2027 and third on the offensive line.
Elston lists himself as a “People Mover” on his X/Twitter bio. He’s from Oxford High School in Oxford, Alabama and was teammates with incoming South Carolina freshman linebacker Keenan Britt.
“The atmosphere was amazing and the coaches and recruiters showed great hospitality,” he told Rivals after a spring visit to USC.
