South Carolina football picked up another commitment for Shane Beamer’s 2027 recruiting class.

Offensive tackle Clayton Lee announced his pledge to the Gamecocks via his Instagram on Wednesday.

Lee is a three-star recruit from Florida. The 6-foot-7, 290 pound offensive tackle plays his high school ball at West Nassau County High. He’s the No. 121 recruit in the state of Florida and ranked No. 91 out of all offensive tackles, per 247Sports.

Lee’s commitment to South Carolina came not too long after his official visit in Columbia this past weekend. The Gamecocks beat out Power 4 teams such as Arkansas, UCF and Virginia Tech for Lee’s talents.

Lee also took an unofficial visit to South Carolina in March and visited during spring practice last year, per Gamecock247. Lee took official visits to Virginia Tech (June 5) and UCF (May 29) and was slated to take one to N.C. State this weekend.

With the addition of Lee, the Gamecocks are now up to nine commitmens in the Class of 2027. Lee is one of four offensive linemen who have committed to South Carolina. The others are four-star John Archer and three-stars Jaxon Elston and Will Endicott.
