South Carolina assistant coach Bobby Bentley stopped by Spartanburg High School on Tuesday to see the No. 1 running back in the country, Tavien Feaster, according to multiple sources.

Feaster, a five-star recruit, also got a call from new USC head coach Will Muschamp. According to a source, Muschamp is expected to visit Feaster soon.

Feaster is the No. 12 overall player in the country and has been committed to Clemson since National Signing Day of last year. He has been very loyal to the Tigers throughout the recruiting process but did take a visit to Tennessee this past summer.

He was named Mr. Football last week, the award given to the state’s best player.

This season Feaster had 143 carries for 1,061 yards; 53 catches for 846 yards; and 20 total touchdowns.
