Cavin Ridley, a brief USC commit, ends up at Georgia
Wide receiver Cavin Ridley will play in the SEC, just not at South Carolina (or Alabama).
Ridley on Thursday announced a commit to Georgia, three days after he backed off his pledge to the Gamecocks. His commitment to USC was public for less than two days, a decision he announced Saturday after the conclusion of the Under Armour All-America Game.
He will enroll this month at Georgia, he said via Twitter.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound pass catcher from Deerfield Beach, Fla., had been deciding between USC and Alabama, where his brother Calvin is a star freshman receiver.
