Long time USC commitment DB Damon Arnette of Fort Lauderdale announced a commitment to Ohio State on Twitter Monday night.
Arnette's decision came a day after he completed an official visit with the Buckeyes. He also considered Michigan down the stretch.
He had been committed to USC since July.
"I want to thank everyone that helped me with this recruiting process, I really appreciate everything," Arnette wrote. "I'm honored to say I'm officially committed to THE Ohio State University!"
Arnette becomes the ninth decommitment from USC's 2015 class the third from the secondary. His deletion from the class leaves the Gamecocks with 29 commitments, 30 including transfer offensive lineman Cory Helms.
