Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. defensive end Jarrett Jackson made an official visit to South Carolina for the Florida game and said afterwards the Gamecocks gave him a few things to consider in regards to his commitment to Louisville. Nearly two weeks later, Jackson is still weighing those factors while sticking to his Louisville pledge.
Jackson did not take a visit anywhere last weekend and has nothing planned for this weekend. He has official visits set with Pitt on Dec. 1 and Louisville on Dec. 8.
“I’m just trying to take this whole thing slow and think about everything,” Jackson said. “Trying to enjoy it but at this point and time it gets stressful with everyone calling and texting.”
Jackson said USC defensive line coach Lance Thompson was in touch with him last week and continues to make a hard sell.
“I think their interest is pretty high,” Jackson said. “He talks to me about getting developed. The relationship got better (through his official visit).”
Jackson plans to take his final two official visits and then make his final decision. He will be an early signee.
