West Virginia forward plans USC official visit
Dikembe Dixson (6-7) of Delbarton, W.Va., has not scheduled any official visits, but the senior forward said Thursday he will set up visits with USC, Arkansas and Mississippi State at the least.
Dixson said he won’t take any visits until after May 1. He is taking the ACT this weekend and wanted to get that behind him before scheduling visits, according to his coach.
“He’ll take his visits in May and make his decision the last week in May,” coach Brad Napier said. “South Carolina is one at the top of his list. They are definitely in the mix. But he doesn’t have any favorites. He wants to take visits before he make a decision and see what the schools have to offer.”
Napier said Buffalo, Cleveland State, Marshall, Tennessee and Alabama are other schools showing interest in Dixson at this point.
