Key South Carolina recruiting target makes his choice, but he’s not revealing it yet
Leesburg, Ga., defensive back Jammie Robinson said he has made his college decision.
He will announce Wednesday at 2 p.m. Finalists are South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee and Auburn.
As a senior, he had 105 tackles, six tackles for loss and two interceptions on a dominant defense for a 15-1 team.
The Gamecocks have already signed a pair of defensive backs in John Dixon and Cam Smith, and have Shilo Sanders committed.
Notes:
▪ Winter Park, Fla., defensive lineman Jaquaze Sorrells took his official visit to Alabama over the weekend. He is set to announce Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with USC and Penn State the other two on his list. The Gamecocks and Nittany Lions have made the strongest push for him over the recruiting period.
▪ South Carolina offered linebacker Mason Tufaga (6-foot-1, 180 pounds) of Honolulu. Some of his other offers are Oregon, Oregon State, Hawaii and Southern Cal.
