USC D-line target Naquan Jones commits to Michigan State

Defensive lineman Naquan Jones of Evanston, Ill., committed to Michigan State on Monday.

Jones (6-4, 283) chose the Spartans over South Carolina and Florida.

Jones and a mentor who is a Myrtle Beach native visited USC in February, and since that point the Gamecocks had been strong with him.

He plans to take official visits in the fall, and USC, Michigan State and Florida each will receive one.
