Florida left handed pitcher commits to Gamecocks

2017 left handed pitcher Bryce Hulett (6-2 165) of Frostproof, Fl. committed to USC. Here's a scouting report on him from PrepBaseball Report.com:

Hulett is a 6-foot-2, 165 pounds lefty with a loose, athletic, and projectable body. He is a very good athlete who also looks good at 1B with a pretty left handed swing. On the mound, Bryce has a loose, easy working arm at a high ¾ slot with good rhythm and takes it back in line and lands in line to home. His fast ball has deception at 84-85 mph with tailing action and his curve ball is a bit inconsistent but occasionally has ¾ as well as a downward rotation at 70-71 mph. Bryce drops his slot to throw the change up but has good arm speed with same tailing action as fast ball at 78-79 mph. Hulett’s stuff is good when he stays in line and through everything, finishing out front. South Carolina appears to have gotten a solid lefty who may be able to help on the offensive side as well.
