NJ receiver Kelvin Harmon wraps up USC official ahead of decision

Wide receiver Kelvin Harmon of Palmyra, NJ, made his official visit to South Carolina over the weekend.

Harmon will announce his decision at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Palmyra High and declined comment regarding his USC visit so as not to give anything away about his decision.

Harmon also is considering North Carolina, NC State, West Virginia, Temple and Rutgers. Harmon also camped at USC this past summer and attended the prospect pool party in July.

▪  USC men’s basketball had an official visit over the weekend from Sedee Keita (6-10) of Philadelphia and Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut.

“It was great,” he said.

Keita has taken unofficial visits to Providence and Temple and plans an official visit to Providence. He has a top six of USC, Temple, UNLV, Penn State, LSU and Providence.

▪  Class of 2017 guard Devontae Shuler of Irmo and Oak Hill Academy, Va., was at USC to watch basketball practice Saturday. He also attended the football game.
