Louisville commit linebacker visits South Carolina
Richland Northeast Shrine Bowl linebacker T.J. Brunson took in another game at South Carolina on Saturday, though he got there late because of traffic and left during halftime because he said he wasn't feeling good. In between, he did have the chance to talk with USC co-defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward.
"Telling me how much they wanted me to be there, and I was by Bryan Edwards and C.J. Freeman and they were telling me how it would be good for us to be there in the 2016 class and stuff," Brunson said.
Like all USC recruiting targets, Brunson is having to weigh the impact of Steve Spurrier's departure on his decision.
"It depends on who comes in and what happens,” Brunson said. “But if the staff leaves it would change a lot of things because they've been coming after me since the offer."
Brunson has been committed to Louisville, and he might take an unofficial visit there this coming weekend. He has not yet scheduled any official visits.
Though he's firmly committed to Louisvlle, Brunson still wants to see who else comes after him following the season. He did say Louisville hasn't been as active recruiting him lately as USC has but said that's because the Cardinals don't recruit their prospects as hard during the season as they do out of season.
