South Carolina target Kobe Smith bumps up enrollment day

Defensive lineman Kobe Smith of Lawrenceville, Ga., is moving up his enrollment timetable by a day.

Smith (6-foot-4, 295 pounds) said he will show up Saturday at South Carolina or Kentucky.

Other than appearing on the campus of his choice, Smith does not plan any other announcement regarding his decision. He's a former Kentucky and N.C. State commitment.

Class of 2016 defensive back Kristian Fulton of Metairie, La., was offered Tuesday night by USC. Some of his other offers are LSU, Alabama, Miami, Florida and Arkansas. He has officials set with Arkansas on Jan. 22 and Florida on Jan. 29.

Defensive back Daniel Thomas of Montgomery, Ala., was offered by Clemson Tuesday night. He also has a USC offer.

USC offered 2017 DE Donovan Jeter of Beaver Falls, Pa., on Tuesday. It's his 18th offer.
