What’s next for South Carolina coach Will Muschamp? Knocking on the door at Daniel High School?

The first-year Gamecocks reached deep into Clemson territory again Monday, dishing out offers to three prospects at the two Anderson high schools.

One went to defensive back Lummie Young IV (6-2, 195) of Westside High, making the Gamecocks his first Power 5 Conference offer. He also has offers from Miami of Ohio, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina and Old Dominion.

The other two offers were made to teammates at T.L. Hanna High School: Class of 2018 defensive end Stephon Wynn Jr., whose father played at Clemson, and Class of 2019 defensive end Zacch Pickens. The offer was the first for Wynn (6-4, 230) and the second second for Pickens (6-4, 240), who also has an offer from Florida State.

The Gamecocks also are showing interest in T.L. Hanna tailback Davijuan Dean, who attended their junior day in February.

Muschamp previously had gone into Clemson’s backyard with an offer to defensive end Brad Johnson of Pendleton.

Clemson has not yet offered any of these prospects.

South Carolina has 13 instate offers out for the 2017 class, with one of those (Chapin tight end Will Register) already committed to the Gamecocks.
