In-state defensive end still on commitment watch for South Carolina
Defensive end Tyreek Johnson of Lakewood has not rescheduled his visit to South Carolina but said everything still looks good for him committing when he does visit.
He does not expect the visit to take place for the junior day because Will Muschamp wants the visit to be just for him and his parents.
▪ Defensive end Javon Kinlaw said all is going well for him at Jones County Junior College (Miss.) and he remains committed to South Carolina.
Kinlaw said he's in regular contact with Will Muschamp and said the coach still wants him for the 2017 class if all goes well for him at the junior college on the football field and academically.
▪ Class of 2016 defensive end Josiah Coatney of Holmes Community College (Miss.) has added an April 9 official visit to Florida to his schedule. He is going to USC on March 19 and Ole Miss on April 1.
