Saturday South Carolina entertained offensive lineman Riley Locklear of Huntington, West Virginia. On June 1, another offensive lineman from Huntington, Billy Ross, plans to visit USC as well. Though they're from the same city, Locklear and Ross go to different schools. But they have the same Gamecock recruiter in offensive line coach Shawn Elliott. Elliott recently checked in on Ross and that's when he set up his June visit.

"My coach told me he stopped by the school and got my transcripts and stuff like that," Ross said. "I know they play in a great conference, the best conference. (Will) Muschamp is a great coach. The offensive line coach, Coach Elliott, he's awesome. He likes how physical I am and how nasty I am."

Locklear plays tackle in high school and said he could play tackle or guard in college. He has a long list of offers including West Virginia, Marshall, Louisville, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi State, NC State, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech and others.

He also has visited West Virginia, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Auburn, Louisville, North Carolina and NC State and he also plans to visit Ohio State and North Carolina in June.

Ross said he remains open on his decision because he hasn't seen enough schools and he probably won't make a decision until after his season.
