TL Hanna tailback Davijuan Dean chasing Gamecocks offer
TL Hanna running back Davijuan Dean participated in Will Muschamp's one-day high school camp Thursday in hopes of landing an offer from the Gamecocks.
Dean visited for a junior day and stayed in touch with coaches Bobby Bentley and Coleman Hutzler at least once a week but said he could not predict if he will receive an offer following camp Thursday. Of the offers Dean received so far, Appalachian State, Colorado State and Georgia Southern are his favorites. If he were to receive an offer from USC, Dean said it would be one of the top schools on his list.

▪ Defensive end Michael Allen of Buford, Georgia recently unveiled a top six that includes USC. But the Gamecocks must not hold the same regard for him because they did not invite him to Saturday's cookout for top targets.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pound Allen received an offer from the Gamecocks in March and visited USC for the spring game in April. He has kept in contact with Coach Will Muschamp, saying they text "every now and then," but was not notified of the Spurs Up cookout.
Allen has been heavily recruited and has upwards of 30 offers from several SEC and ACC schools.
▪ Per JC Shurburtt of TheBigSpur, defensive back Jamyest Williams of Loganville, Georgia will be at Clemson on Friday and USC’s cookout Saturday.
▪ USC target DE Neil Farrell of Mobile, Alabama was offered Wednesday by Florida State.
▪ Eric Stokes Jr., of Covington, Georgia, lit it up at USC's camp earlier this week running sub 4.3 40-yard dashes according to his assistant football coach and track coach Frankey Iverson. USC has not yet offered. He will be at Florida on Friday for Friday Night Lights.
▪ 2018 QB Dakereon Joynerof Fort Dorchester will visit N.C. State on Friday and USC on Saturday. He won't visit Clemson this month
▪ 2018 USC target defensive lineman D'Andre Litaker of Oakland, Tennessee received an offer Wednesday from Alabama.
▪ 2018 wide receiver Warren Thompson of Seffner, Florida received an offer Wednesday from Florida State. He also has a USC offer.
▪ Per various reports, USC offered 2018 LSU commit defensive back Nadab Joseph of Miami.
▪ 2016 defensive end Mykelle McDaniel Loganville, Georgia will make an official visit Thursday to Tennessee per Grayson High recruiting coordinator Kenyatta Watson. McDaniel is also looking at Alabama. USC was his initial choice after becoming qualified, but the Gamecocks no longer had interest.
