Offensive lineman T.J. Moore is back to a two-team decision after his visit to South Carolina Saturday. In late June, he was going to make the call for either USC or Tennessee, but a month later, he also had N.C. State and North Carolina on his list, plus he was waiting on an offer from Alabama.
The Alabama offer still hasn't come, so he's basically finished waiting on Nick Saban, and the Tar Heels and Wolfpack also have fallen by the wayside leaving the Gamecocks and Vols back where they were a month ago.
Moore enjoyed his visit with the Gamecocks Saturday and said it left him feeling even more comfortable with the school and program.
"Me and Coach (Shawn) Elliott had a great day together and I hung out with the O-line and I saw how much they really enjoyed it. I know Coach Elliott is going to push me as hard as I can if I go there and he's going to be a great coach and a great person I can talk to outside of football."
Moore said he's still planning to announce on the afternoon Aug. 1. He said he wants to visit Tennessee this coming weekend but has to talk with his parents.
"They are both really even, nobody is really ahead right now," Moore said. "I'm looking at how many commits each school has, how many commits they got last year on the O-line, and the coaches. I just want somebody that's going to be there if I have to stay four years in college I want them to be with me all four years. I don't want a new offensive line coach or new head coach. I want to make a good relationship with the coaches I'm going to have. And early playing time, good academics and a good family I can build with the people I'm around."
