Former USC star named WNBA rookie of the year
Former South Carolina star Allisha Gray has been named the WNBA’s 2017 Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press.
Gray averaged 13 points and 3.9 rebounds per game as a rookie with the Dallas Wings, starting all 34 games.
She was the fourth overall pick in this year’s WNBA Draft.
Former USC teammate Kaela Davis joins Gray on AP’s WNBA All-Rookie team.
Gray and Davis helped lead the USC women to the 2017 national championship.
