From NBA players like S.C. native Ja Morant to Hall of Famer Magic Johnson and Dwyane Wade, they all congratulated Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks on the 64-49 win over Connecticut at the Target Center.

“Congratulations to South Carolina Head Coach Dawn Staley & her staff, Player of the Year Aliyah Boston, & the entire South Carolina women’s basketball team for becoming NCAA National Champions!!” Magic Johnson wrote on Twitter.

@dawnstaley the goat,” said Morant, a former Crestwood standout.
