The preseason accolades continue to roll in for South Carolina.

Aliyah Boston was named Tuesday to The Associated Press preseason All-American team. She was a unanimous selection.

Boston averaged 16.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.4 blocks for the Gamecocks last season and helped them capture the national championship.

Ahead of this season, she was also named SEC preseason Player of the Year and a member of the SEC preseason first team.

Last week, Boston was placed on the Lisa Leslie Award Watch List, given to the nation’s best center. She’s won the award three times.

Boston won National Player of the Year last season for the first time and is a three-time member of the All-SEC First Team as well as the SEC All-Defensive Team.
