South Carolina senior Laeticia Amihere has declared for the WNBA Draft.

Amihere made her decision public with a social media post Tuesday.

“I am incredibly grateful to announce that I will be declaring for the upcoming WNBA Draft,” she wrote. “It has been an honor and privilege to represent the University of South Carolina and wear the Gamecock jersey.”

Amihere was used in the post, on the wing and at point guard for South Carolina. She mostly played in a sixth woman role but started games on occasion.

Amihere averaged 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in 127 appearances as a Gamecock. She had one remaining year of eligibility.

She is the third Gamecock to announce her decision, with forward Aliyah Boston and guard Brea Beal already doing so. Guards Zia Cooke and Olivia Thompson are the last of the “Freshies” to make an announcement.

The WNBA Draft will air on ESPN on Monday at 7 p.m.
