No. 1 South Carolina women’s basketball announces third sellout of season
The Gamecocks have officially sold out three women’s basketball games in one season for the first time in program history.
USC announced Saturday that its athletics ticket office had declared the upcoming home game this Sunday versus Ole Miss a sellout. It’s the third sellout this season, joining last Sunday’s game versus Vanderbilt and the upcoming Feb. 11 home game versus UConn.
Dawn Staley’s No. 1 South Carolina team (20-0, 8-0 SEC) will face off with Ole Miss Sunday at 2 p.m. on ESPN2.
According to a school release, “University faculty/staff will still be able to use their Carolina Card to gain admission on a first-come, first-served basis, and a limited number of student tickets are still available to be claimed.”
The game marks the 12th sellout of the 18,000-seat Colonial Life Arena and the first back-to-back sellout in program history.
