How to watch Dawn Staley on new WNBA pregame show on CBS this summer
South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley is jumping into the broadcasting world this summer.
CBS Sports is debuting its new “WNBA Tip Off” pregame show this weekend, and Staley is set to be an analyst. She will star alongside host Sarah Kustok and analyst Renee Montgomery.
The first “WNBA Tip Off” show will be this Saturday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m. before the Indiana Fever take on the Chicago Sky. CBS touted the game itself as the first WNBA regular season game to be nationally televised in prime time.
CBS is televising eight more WNBA regular season games this year. The “WNBA Tip Off” show will air before four of those.
Staley will get to be the pregame analyst for games that include her former players in Aliyah Boston, A’ja Wilson and Tiffany Mitchell.
Staley first teased she’d be on a pregame show with CBS during an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” while promoting her new book two weeks ago.
“They asked me to be on the show and give some commentary. Gave me an opportunity to see some of my players,” Staley told The State last week at the SEC spring meetings in Florida.
