Dawn Staley and South Carolina’s 2025-26 season schedule is starting to come together.

The Gamecocks now know the dates for when they will play each of their SEC opponents after finding out who and where they would play back in June.

The team’s SEC opener will be on Jan. 1 at home against Alabama.

South Carolina will play Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Texas at home in Colonial Life Arena. The highest-profile SEC home games for the Gamecocks project to be the matchups with Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Texas.

USC will hit the road to play Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Texas A&M and Oklahoma in SEC play this coming season.

That means the first time facing Gamecocks transfer MiLaysia Fulwiley — now with LSU — will happen in Baton Rouge on Feb. 14, a rare Saturday date for a women’s basketball game. (Most games are Sunday or Thursday, with one game on a Monday.)

TV networks, streaming info and tip times will be released at a later date.

Alabama is the lone SEC opponent South Carolina will play twice in league play this regular season. South Carolina could play Texas twice this regular season. The two teams are playing in the Players Era Championship in Las Vegas and would play on Nov. 26 if both teams win their respective first games of the event.

South Carolina has not yet released its full 2025-26 schedule, but some of the Gamecocks’ nonconference games have been revealed. Those games include a multi-team event with Duke/UCLA/Texas, road matchups with Southern Cal, Louisville, South Florida, Florida Gulf Coast and a home game with Providence.

Tuesday’s SEC release makes for 23 known USC game dates. The Gamecocks played 30 regular-season games a season ago. The full game schedule is typically finalized sometime in September.

Here are the games on the Gamecocks’ schedule that have been revealed so far:
