One of the best recruits in the Class of 2026 is scheduled to be in Columbia soon.
Five-star guard Jerzy Robinson will take an official visit with South Carolina women’s basketball this weekend, her high school coach told The State on Tuesday.
Robinson is the No. 5-ranked recruit in ESPN’s Top 100 for the Class of 2026. She is a 6-foot senior guard who plays at Sierra Canyon High School in California .
Robinson holds several offers from blue blood programs around the country. Those teams include LSU, UConn, UCLA, Southern Cal, Iowa, Notre Dame and more, per On3. Robinson took an official visit to LSU earlier this month, per her social media.
Brandon Clay, the 247Sports director of women’s basketball scouting, describes Robinson as a “rhythm scorer” who has a unique “physical size and skillset package.”
Robinson already has three gold medals in international play in the last three years. Those wins came with the U.S. women’s national team at the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup, 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup and 2023 FIBA Americas U16 Championship.
She averaged 15.6 points, seven rebounds and 1.5 assists across those games, per FIBA.
South Carolina currently has one commitment in the Class of 2026. Kelsi Andrews, a four-star forward from Florida who is the No. 18 ranked recruit in the class, committed earlier this month.
