Get your passports ready, Gamecock fans.

South Carolina women’s basketball is headed to Paris, France to open the 2026-27 season in the Oui Play event, USC and Complete Sports Management announced Monday.

Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks will play Maryland on Nov. 2, 2026. This is the second time South Carolina has competed in the Oui Play event. The Gamecocks beat Notre Dame 100-71 in the inaugural event in 2023.

The event has changed some since its inception. Oui Play is now a doubleheader, and games are played in the 9,000-seat Adidas Arena, which was used in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The South Carolina-Maryland matchup to start the 2026 season will be joined by a game between North Carolina and Oklahoma.

Tickets for the game will go on sale at a later date, per Monday’s release. USC fans can purchase a VIP package for the event that is already available for purchase.

South Carolina opens its 2025-26 season Monday at home against Grand Canyon.
