No. 3 South Carolina will start its postseason journey on Friday.

Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks (28-2, 15-1 SEC) wrapped up their regular season Sunday with a win over No. 16 Kentucky on the road in Lexington.

South Carolina had already clinched its fifth consecutive SEC regular-season title a few days earlier. The Gamecocks will be the No. 1 seed in this coming week’s conference tournament.

The tournament is in Greenville for the fourth-straight year (and will be held there until 2028). First round action starts Wednesday, March 4 and the tournament will conclude with the championship game on Sunday, March 8 at 3:30 p.m.

South Carolina is vying for its fourth-straight SEC Tournament title and 10th overall in program history. The Gamecocks will learn their first opponent in the tournament sometime Thursday afternoon.
