First betting line released for South Carolina WBB vs. UCLA national title game
South Carolina women’s basketball has made it to the national championship after pulling off a win that very few outsiders were expecting.
The Gamecocks upset previously undefeated UConn on Friday in Phoenix and advanced to Sunday’s title game vs. UCLA, which beat Texas later Friday night.
It’ll be a battle of the tournament’s No. 2 overall seed (UCLA) and No. 4 overall seed (South Carolina). The Bruins enter at 36-1, and South Carolina enters at 36-3.
Initial point spreads for South Carolina-UCLA were posted by sportsbooks late Friday after the Bruins’ win over Texas at Mortgage Matchup Center. After upsetting UConn, South Carolina is a slight favorite over the Bruins.
Here’s a roundup of opening betting lines:
- DraftKings: South Carolina by 2.5 points
- FanDuel: South Carolina by 3.5 points
- BetMGM: South Carolina by 3.5 points
- ESPN analytics: South Carolina 52.5% chance to win
