South Carolina remained No. 3 in the Associated Press Women’s Top 25 on Monday after finishing its regular season with a rout of LSU.

The Gamecocks (28-1, 16-0 SEC) finished a perfect league season.

USC is still behind unbeaten Connecticut and No. 2 Notre Dame. The Gamecocks and Fighting Irish have each lost to the Huskies.

The Gamecocks play the Auburn-Missouri winner at noon on Friday in the SEC tournament quarterfinals. With a tournament championship, USC would likely secure a No. 1 national seed in the Lexington (Ky.) Regional.
