Kevin Kisner suspended by Palmetto Golf Club

Kevin Kisner confirmed on Twitter Sunday that he had been suspended by Palmetto Golf Club because of a video shot at the club for VICE Sports featuring the PGA Tour pro.

Kisner tweeted Sunday morning that he was beginning his preparations for the Wells Fargo Championship and The PLAYERS Championship at Sage Valley Golf Club.

Kisner, a member at Palmetto, then confirmed to GolfWRX’s Ben Alberstadt that he and other members who appeared in the video, titled “Beer, Bets, and Golf Cart Races,” were suspended by the club. In the tweet, Kisner said that it was “pretty comical.” The length of the suspension is unclear.

The video was posted online just before Kisner’s Masters debut last month.

Palmetto Golf Club was founded in 1892 and is the country’s second-oldest golf club.
