Kennedy new football coach at Blythewood
Reggie Kennedy is the new head football coach at Blythewood High School.
He was approved on Tuesday night by the Richland Two Board of Trustees.
Kennedy has been the athletic director, head football coach and an administrator at Fairfield Central High School. He previously coached at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High, Kingstree Senior High and Lake City High School.
“We are seeking a new direction for the football program and Mr. Kennedy has the experience to help our team reach its goals,” said principal Blythewood Principal Keith Price.
Kennedy boasts a career record of 115-71. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from S.C. State and a Master of Education from Cambridge College in Cambridge, Mass.
