Cardinal Newman’s Millard earns NSCAA/MaxPreps honor

Cardinal Newman’s Wyatt Millard was named the National Soccer Coaches Association/MaxPreps Boys Soccer Player of the Week from South Carolina for his efforts last week.

Millard had four goals in the Cardinals’ win over Heathwood Hall in the SCISA 3A semifinals and then had a hat trick in helping Cardinal Newman to a 4-1 win over Hammond in the championship game.

The senior finished the season with 16 goals and 18 assists. Millard signed to play soccer at the U.S. Naval Academy.
