Lexington volleyball loses in state semifinals to Wando
For the second straight, Lexington volleyball team comes up short in Class 5A playoffs.
Wando defeated the Wildcats, 25-23, 25-10, 25-17, to earn a spot in the Class 5A championship. The Warriors face Nation Ford on Saturday at White Knoll High School at 7 p.m.
Wando is making its sixth straight finals appearance, the last three coming in 5A.
Lexington finishes the year at 36-8.
