Richland Northeast knocks off No. 1 Ridge View. Gray Collegiate boys secure region title
Calvin Hall hit two free throws with less than 15 seconds left as Richland Northeast pulled off the upset of top-ranked Ridge View, 56-54, on Friday in boys high school basketball.
RNE’s win prevented RV from clinching the Region 3-4A title. The Cavs trail the Blazers by one game with two games left in the regular season.
Hall finished with 13 points and his free throws were RNE’s only attempts for the game. Amere Cherry led the Cavs with 16 and Durand Brown had 13.
Tyler Rice led Ridge View with 20.
