Vote for The State’s boys high school basketball player of the week
It’s time to vote for The State’s high school boys basketball Player of the Week from Midlands-area high schools and games played Jan. 16-21. Voting ends Friday at noon. The winner will be announced on Lou Bezjak’s Twitter page.
Coaches can send nominations to Lou Bezjak by 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Madden Collins, Jr., Irmo: Junior averaged 20 points and 2.5 rebounds in Yellow Jackets’ two games last week.
Arden Conyers, Sr., Westwood: Senior had a career-high 32 points, 6 rebounds and was 13-of-13 from the free-throw line in Westwood’s win over No. 3 Irmo.
Sullie Crider, Jr., Northside Christian: The junior averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4.5 assists in the Crusaders’ two wins last week.
Mimike Leaphart, Sr., Batesburg-Leesville: Senior averaged 16.5 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals in B-L’s two games last week.
Ryan Lominack, Sr., Dreher: Senior had 26 points and 5 rebounds in OT win over Gilbert.
Israel Macklin, Jr., Camden: Junior averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in Camden’s two games last week.
Avanatae Parker, Sr., Gray Collegiate: Senior averaged 13.6 points, 7.5 rebounds in War Eagles’ three games last week.
