Blythewood’s Chase Thomas voted Midlands high school girls basketball player of week
The votes are in, and Blythewood’s Chase Thomas wins the vote for The State’s Midlands High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week.

Zamariya Crum, Swansea: Senior point guard had 15 points, seven steals, four assists and six rebounds against Pelion.
Teonna Draughn, Cardinal Newman: Sophomore had 24 points, five rebounds and four assists in win over Augusta Christian.
Joyce Edwards, Camden: South Carolina signee had 34 points, 17 rebounds and 10 steals in win over Lakewood.
Terriana Gray, AC Flora: Alabama A&M commit averaged 23.5 points, six rebounds, 4.5 assists and four steals in Falcons’ two games last week.
Lauren Jacobs, Heathwood Hall: Junior averaged 31.5 points, six rebounds, 4.5 steals and four assists in Highlanders’ two games last week.
Ah’leria Leaphart, Gilbert: Senior scored 29 points, had 15 steals and three rebounds in win over Fox Creek.
Zimarika Moorer, Richland Northeast: Sophomore averaged 17 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists in RNE’s two games last week.
Chase Thomas, Blythewood: Sophomore scored 21 points, had 16 rebounds, two assists and two steals in Bengals win over White Knoll.
Kadence Walker-Lee, Gray Collegiate: Senior averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds in War Eagles’ three games last week.
