Camden sophomore voted The State’s high school football Girls Basketball Player of Week
The votes are in, and Camden sophomore Jillian Rush won the vote for The State’s Midlands High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week.

The nominees are listed below. Please note that these polls are not scientific and are meant to be just for fun. Congrats to all the nominees.

Girls Basketball Nominees
Teonna Draughn, G, AC Flora: Junior averaged 18.5 points, five rebounds, three steals in wins over York and Lancaster last week.
Evie Godfrey, G, Northside Christian: Sophomore had 21 points (six 3-pointers), eight steals, three rebounds, two assists in Crusaders’ lone game against Augusta Christian, a 49-34 win.
Shaelyn Hayes, G/F, White Knoll: Senior averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks in Timberwolves’ three games last week.
Taelor Hiller, C, Lower Richland: Senior averaged 14.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in two Diamond Hornets’ games.
Abby Livingston, G, Irmo: Sophomore averaged 26 points, 5.5 steals, four assists and three rebounds in Yellow Jackets’ two games last week.
Jaleya Lytes, G, Lexington: Junior averaged 12 points, two steals in pair of Wildcats’ wins over Catawba Ridge and Irmo last week.
Sabreya Monsanto, G, Heathwood Hall: Senior guard and East Tennessee signee had 17 points, 17 rebounds and six steals in Highlanders’ lone game last week, a 63-11 win over Hilton Head Christian.
Jillian Rush, F, Camden: Sophomore averaged 16 points, 11 rebounds, two steals in Bulldogs’ two games last week.
Arielle Summons, F, Ben Lippen: Seventh-grader averaged 11 points, 10.5 rebounds, three blocks and two steals in Falcons’ two games last week.
