The votes are in, and Dutch Fork’s Justus Bell won the vote for The State’s Midlands High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week.

Thanks to all who voted. A new poll will be up on Monday afternoon.

The nominees are listed below. Please note that these polls are not scientific and are meant to be just for fun. Congrats to all the nominees.

Coaches can send nominations each week to lbezjak@thestate.com by 1 p.m. on Mondays.

Boys Basketball Nominees

Justus Bell, Dutch Fork: Junior forward averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 rebounds for the Silver Foxes, who went 2-0 last week.

Charlie Bonds, Richard Winn: Senior averaged 18.5 points, 15.5 rebounds and five assists in the Eagles’ two games last week

Korie Corbett, Ridge View: Junior guard averaged 21 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals in the Blazers’ two wins last week.

Yasir Cromer, River Bluff: Senior averaged 20 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Gators last week.

Kamauri Hunter, Heathwood Hall: Junior point guard averaged 12 points, six assists, 4.3 rebounds and one steal in the Highlanders’ three games last week.

Hunter McGraw, Gray Collegiate: Sophomore guard averaged 16 points, 5.5 assists, three rebounds and three steals in War Eagles’ two games last week.

Braysen Stockman, Ben Lippen: Junior guard had a pair of 40-point games and averaged 39 points and eight rebounds in the Falcons’ three games last week.
