AC Flora’s Naja Gray, Chapin’s Brayden Francis voted basketball players of week
The votes are in, and AC Flora’s Naja Gray and Chapin’s Brayden Francis won the vote for The State’s Midlands High School Basketball Players of the Week.

Boys Player of Week nominees
Levi Ball, Gray Collegiate: Senior forward averaged 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks in four games last week.
Jayden Crews, Westwood: Senior averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in four games last week.
RJ Davis, Ridge View: Davis averaged 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists last week.
Brayden Francis, Chapin: Senior averaged 19 points, 4 assists and 2 steals last week.
Aissacc Germany, CA Johnson: Germany had a triple-double (37 points, 16 rebounds, 12 steals) against McBee and also double figures in Green Hornets other games last week.
Semaj Govan, Dutch Fork: In DF’s lone game against AC Flora, Govan hit 6 3-pointers and had 28 points.
CJ Moore, Ridge View: Moore averaged 18 points, 9 rebounds and four assists last week.
Braxton Redding, American Leadership: In ALA’s lone game last week, the junior scored 13 points and had 10 rebounds.
Jayden Rowe, Gray Collegiate: Junior averaged 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists in four games last week.
DJ Slaughter, Ben Lippen: Sophomore averaged 19.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in two games for the Falcons.
CJ Springs, Saluda: In the Tigers’ lone game last week, Springs had 37 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals against Ridge Spring Monetta.
Girls Player of Week nominees
LA Alexander, Camden: Senior averaged 13.6 points and 10 rebounds in helping Bulldogs to Sylvia Hatchell Division title at Beach Ball Classic.
Naja Gray, AC Flora: Eighth grader averaged 14.7 points, 8 rebounds. 2.3 assists and 3 steals in the Falcons’ 3 games last week.
Reagan Haggard, Chapin: Senior averaged 14.3 points in helping the Eagles to Kay Yow Division Championship at Beach Ball Classic.
Lailah Singletary, Irmo: Eighth grader averaged 29 points, 6.6 rebounds and four steals in Yellow Jackets’ four games.
Chaelyn Tifre, River Bluff: Senior averaged 17 points and 13 rebounds in the Gators’ two games last week.
