Meet The State’s 2025-26 Midlands all-area high school girls basketball teams

This is The State’s all-area girls basketball team from Midlands-area high schools for the 2025-26 season.

Top honors

Girls Basketball All-Area Team

First Team

LA Alexander, Camden: All-State and Carolinas Classic selection averaged 15.9 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.2 steals, 2.4 assists and 1.5 blocks this season. Alexander signed with Tennessee State and was MVP of Carolinas Classic.

Sydni Anderson, Lexington: All-State and North-South selection averaged 14 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. Anderson signed with Francis Marion.

Aneya Britt, Gray Collegiate: Junior was all-state selection and averaged 19 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals per game.

Trinity Crumlin, Dutch Fork: Junior was all-state selection and averaged 13.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.4 steals, 2.2 blocks and. 2.1 assists per game.

Taelor Lee-Sutton, Keenan: Sophomore was Class 3A Player of Year and averaged 22.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.4 steals and 3.3 assists in helping the Raiders to the 3A title game.

Abby Livingston, Irmo: Junior was all-state selection and averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals per game.

Jazz McMillan, Hammond: Junior was SCISA 1-4A Player of the Year and averaged 19 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals per game.

Lailah Singletary, Irmo: Eighth grader was all-state selection and averaged 25 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals per game this season.

Cedrianna Springs, Saluda: Sophomore was all-state selection and averaged 21.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.8 steals and 1.6 assists per game this season.

Jhnai Sumter, Lower Richland: All-State and Carolinas Classic All-Star selection averaged 16.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.0 steals, 2.8 assists this season. Sumter signed with Lander University.

Chase Thomas, Blythewood: Class 5A Co-Player of the Year and Carolinas All-Star selection averaged 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists per game and shot 83 percent from the free-throw line. Thomas is signed with South Carolina State.

India Williams, Blythewood: All-State and North-South selection averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists per game. Williams signed with USC Aiken.

Second Team

Amiyah Carr, Ridge View: Freshman was all-state selection and averaged 10.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.

Aareonna Caughman, Keenan: Senior averaged 10.6 points, 8 rebounds and 3.4 steals this season for the Raiders.

Teonna Draughn, AC Flora: Senior was North-South selection and averaged 17.2 points, 5 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 2 assists this season.

Nyla Gipson, Ben Lippen: Seventh-grader averaged 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.4 steals this season.

Naja Gray, AC Flora: Eighth-grader averaged 12.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists and 1 block this season.

Cassidy Harry, Lexington: Junior averaged 12.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.8 steals this season.

Skylar McCray, AC Flora: North-South selection averaged 12.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 and 1.8 steals this season.

Braylin Mungo, Camden: Junior averaged 10.9 points, 4.7 assists, 3.8 steals and 2.4 rebounds this season.

Lyric Rogers, Westwood: Sophomore averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists this season.

Jilian Rush, Camden: Junior averaged 11.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.1 assists this season.

Jordan Samuel, Lugoff-Elgin: Sophomore averaged 18 points and 6 assists this season.

Chaelyn Tifre, River Bluff: Senior averaged 12.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 1.3 assists this season.
