All-Area Boys Golf Team

Howie Vroon, River Bluff: Senior finished with the school-record 71.9 scoring average in helping the Gators to their second-straight Class 5A Division I state championship. Vroon was a North-South All-Star selection, won the Anderson Brothers Invitational and Lexington County championship and finished second at Class 5A Division I state tournament.

First Team

Marcus Bradley, Hammond: The junior had a 71.5 scoring average this season and tied for second at the SCISA 4A championship in helping the Skyhawks to the state title.

Phillip Burgess, Lexington: Senior had a 75.9 scoring average and was 14th at the Class 5A Division I tournament.

Landon Compton, Mid-Carolina: Junior had a 74.2 scoring average and finished sixth at the Class 2A golf championship.

Maddox McCamy, River Bluff: Sophomore had a 73.4 scoring average and finished third at the Class 5A Division I tournament to help the Gators to their second-straight state championship.

Whitt Parker, Gray Collegiate: Senior had a 76 scoring average signed to play at Spartanburg Methodist.

Thomas Sabalis, AC Flora: Senior had a 75 scoring average and was selected to play in the North-South All-Star golf matches.

Brady Senn, Gilbert: Junior finished with a 74.1 scoring average in 21 rounds this season and finished runner-up at the Class 4A state tournament.

Hank Thompkins, Camden: Sophomore had a 75.6 stroke average and was medalist at Region 3-4A tournament and fourth at 4A Upper State championship.

Woods Weston, Hammond: Freshman had a scoring average of 72 and finished fourth at SCISA 4A championship in helping the Skyhawks to the state championship.

Connor Wolfe, Heathwood Hall: Freshman had a 33.9 scoring average for 9 holes and shot a course-record 9-under 63 in the final round of the SCISA 4A tournament in winning the state championship.
