River Bluff boys soccer ranked No. 9 in USA Today poll
The River Bluff boys soccer team entered the national rankings Tuesday.
The Gators are ranked No. 9 in the boys’ USA Today High School Sports/National Soccer Coaches Association poll.
River Bluff won the Capital City Cup on Feb. 28 by defeating Mauldin 2-1 in the championship match. The Gators won their four matches in the event by a combined score of 8-1.
River Bluff is one of three South Carolina teams ranked in the poll. Wando is No. 1 and J.L. Mann is No. 17. Wando defeated River Bluff in last year’s Class 4A lower state championship.
The Gators improved to 7-0 after their 5-1 win over North Augusta on Tuesday.
