Midlands players, South Carolina football signee among North-South basketball selections
Six Midlands basketball players and one South Carolina football signee were among those selected for North-South all-star basketball games.
Rosters for the games were officially released Wednesday. The games will be played on March 21 at Lexington High School with the girls game at 1 p.m. and boys at 3 p.m.
South Carolina football signee Tonka Hemingway will play on the South team in the boys game. Hemingway played in the Shrine Bowl all-star football game.
Midlands players picked for the games are Ridge View’s Cincere Scott, Gray Collegiate’s Tauris Watson, AC Flora’s JB Moore, Chapin’s Maddux Harrell, Westwood’s Ja’La Wade and Irmo’s Ehrial Wagstaff.
