It’s time to vote for The State’s Midlands high school basketball Players of the Week for games played Feb. 7-12. Voting ends at noon Thursday, and you can vote as many times you like. The winner will be announced on Lou Bezjak’s Twitter page on Thursday.

The nominees are listed below. Please note that these polls are not scientific and are meant to be just for fun.:

Boys basketball nominees

Arden Conyers, Westwood: The junior guard scored 20 points to lead Westwood into the playoffs with a 66-64 double-overtime victory over Richland Northeast on Friday.

Adrien Jackson, Lower Richland: In two wins over Fairfield Central, Jackson averaged 17.5 points per game. He opened the week with 21 points and scored 14 points in a 58-53 victory to close the regular season.

GG Jackson, Ridge View: Scored 30 points or more in both games to help Ridge View to its sixth straight region title. Jackson began the week with 34 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks in a 78-52 victory over Rock Hill and had 30 points, 14 rebounds in the 77-56 win over Blythewood.

Tory Kelly, Gray Collegiate: In the War Eagles’ only game of the week, Kelly scored 18 points in an 81-30 win over Newberry. Gray Collegiate closed the regular season on an 11-game winning streak.

Cam Scott, Lexington: Had 14 points and hit the game-winning free throws to help Lexington to a 47-44 win over region champion Dutch Fork on Tuesday. On Thursday, Scott scored 33 points to lead the Wildcats to a 64-47 victory over Chapin.

Braysen Stockman, Ben Lippen: On Thursday, Stockman scored 16 points to help the Falcons to a 63-34 victory over Northwood Academy. On Friday, he had 18 points in 52-51 loss to PAC.

Dylan Williams, Irmo: Averaged 17.3 points in the Yellow Jackets’ three wins last week. He had 21 points against Westwood and added 16 in the region-clinching victory over Lugoff-Elgin on Wednesday.

Girls basketball nominees

Joyce Edwards, Camden: Edwards was dominant in a pair of wins over Crestwood. She scored 24 points with 14 rebounds in a 78-27 victory on Monday and followed that performance with a 22-point, 11-rebound effort in a 65-30 win on Tuesday.

Terriana Gray, A.C. Flora: On Friday, Gray scored 34 points to lead the Falcons to a 67-53 win over Dreher that wrapped up second spot in the region. On Tuesday, she scored 18 points with five rebounds and four steals in a 69-31 win over Lugoff-Elgin.

Iyanna Jacobs, Dreher: Jacobs averaged 21 points in two games, including a 32-point scoring outburst to lead the Blue Devils to a 75-28 victory over Richland Northeast on Tuesday.

JaiDah Liebert, Spring Valley: The Vikings closed the regular season with a 66-61 upset of Dutch Fork, and Liebert led the way with 18 points. Liebert opened the week with 12 points to help Spring Valley to a 64-42 win over Blythewood.

Tyra Myers, Hammond: The senior guard went over the 2,000-point mark in her career with a 36-point effort in a 56-55 win over Legion Collegiate. Myers opened the week with 29 points in a 54-44 win over Porter-Gaud.

Anala Nelson, Lower Richland: On Thursday, Nelson scored 16 points with five steals and five assists in a 54-43 victory over Fairfield Central. Nelson opened the week with 17 points, seven rebounds and four steals for a 61-35 win over the Griffins.

Jessica Woods, Westwood: Woods helped the Redhawks to an unbeaten region slate with a career-high 37-point effort in a 64-17 victory over Richland Northeast on Friday night. She began the week with 22 points in a 66-38 win over Irmo.
